My name is Emily and I am from Texas. I am still new to the photography world but would like to learn so so much more.
I am currently owned by a 2yr old aussie named Cooper. He is an absolute joy and pain in the butt at the same time. I tell people living with him is like living with a constant 2 year old kid. Always running around wondering what he can put into his mouth next lol.
I am starting my 3rd (and hopefully final) year of grad school. I am getting my masters in wildlife biology and i am currently researching skunks. In my spare time I work as a lab technician at a veterinary clinic.
Most of my pics will be of my dog and my roommates dog (chi/min pin mix). No sports yet. Don't live in a town that has any sort of dog sport which totally sucks. I would really like to get my aussie into agility one of these days.
And that's pretty much my life.

that's neat! you'll be pretty surprised to find there are probably agility stuff near you, I was the same way... there's only one other person who I know of in my entire city (well it's small-ish) who does any sort of dog sport. but thanks to some forum, Becca (who's on here) showed me WAG and life became good. so you'll be surprised. (it's like 40 minutes away)
anyhow, welcome! awesome, wildlife & an aussie! yay!

We actually have summer agility classes in town but they want at least 3 people to sign up before they actually do a class and I was the only one that expressed interest this summer. And this is with me even knowing the instructor personally.
But now that summer is ending I'll have school again and won't have the time for classes. Hopefully when these shenanigans end I'll have more time to dedicate to that.

Welcome to the forum! I love Aussies, so am going to demand at least 100 photos per day. It sounds pretty rough regards the agility classes, I hope next summer is more successful
